Something you may not know..

Here is some thing you may not know..

Lismore began as a timber town. It was a major river port because as the forests were cut it was channelled out to the sea. The city’s population first began with only timber cutters and their families. They were followed by pioneering dairy farmers and they, in turn by successive waves of settlers from across the globe. Today, Lismore has a population of over 45,000 and is the business centre for the Northern Rivers.
